When to use it

How this tool works

The page decodes each selected image in the browser, draws it to a canvas and exports a fresh file in the selected output format. JPG and WebP use the quality setting, while PNG output is lossless where the browser encoder supports it.

Limitations

Conversion can change file size, transparency and compression quality. JPG does not support transparency, so transparent pixels are placed on a white background when exporting JPG. Very large images may be safely downscaled for browser stability.

FAQ

Does this support HEIC or AVIF?

No. This version focuses on JPG, PNG and WebP because those formats are broadly supported by browser canvas export. HEIC and AVIF are intentionally outside this first converter version.

Are files uploaded?

No. The core conversion workflow runs locally in your browser. Avoid using confidential files if your organization does not allow browser-based image tools.

Why did the file get larger?

A different format can create a larger file depending on image content, transparency and encoder settings. Try WebP for smaller photo-like images or PNG for sharp graphics where quality matters more than size.

Can I download all files as ZIP?

Not in this lightweight browser-based version. Each converted file can be downloaded separately, which keeps the tool static and avoids adding a heavy ZIP library.
